Rosso koalas onto Adrian in a way that might be cute, if he wasn't biblically accurate right now. Or maybe it's very cute to have a little horror stuck to your chest. Unclear.
Luckily, they make it home in one piece. Rosso does not accidentally burn more things, especially not Adrian, and Alisha is happy to greet them (scream) when they come in. As expected, Rosso tries to keep off the floors, which results in him having to lift his too-long tail and coil it around Adrian's thigh, but... hey. It's less to clean up later. Fog knows Rosso doesn't wanna clean right now.]
[No listen he is still cute even if he is biblically accurate, shut up. Adrian just won't stare at those many eyes and as long as they don't stare at him, they won't have a problem. It's fine!!
Back into the house they go, and honestly it's a relief that the place doesn't go up in flames on impact. Adrian has to hope the familiarity and comfort of being home helps Rosso relax a bit, even if it means there's still that lingering anxiety in the back of his mind, worrying if he might accidentally torch something without thinking. Luckily, he won't have to ponder it long, because the Harpy/Fae hybrid is quick to take Rosso straight to their bath tucked off to one side of the house.
As much as Adrian wants to rush to get Rosso cleaned, he takes his time solely because he doesn't want to hurt him. Those eyes are...weird, and he's kindof afraid to touch them directly, but hopefully it doesn't bother Rosso too much being set into an empty tub that's quickly filled with warm water. Probably hotter than any normal person could stand, since the both of them aren't bothered by the heat. It's a careful process, with which Adrian keeps asking Rosso if he's alright, because he does eventually need to get soap involved...and it's probably going to sting. And while Adrian could use a bath too, he foregoes it for now. Only his legs and wingtips got muddy, it's fine, he'll shower later because there's no way in hell both of them will fit with their massive wingspans.
Rosso will get Worshed in due time though, with Adrian taking it upon himself to wrap him in a dry towel and lift him up out of the tub, though he'll let Rosso stand and dry himself off unless he wants Adrian to do that, too (he will). It's a little surprising, actually, because Rosso is so WARM naturally right now that before Adrian can even turn to seeing about drying his hair, it's already wicked away a lot of the moisture...]

He tore through his pajamas pretty spectacularly during the night, and he has so many feathers covering his body he wonders if it's even worth it. Rosso walks beside Adrian with his tail still dragging on the floor behind him. It's so long and heavy... it thunkthunkthunks down their stairs the whole way down. Out in the clearing, though, they have room for wing things.

Rosso looks at Adrian. Rosso's one thousand eyes also look at Adrian. Adrian presumably looks at Rosso. They are engaging in Staring.
Okay. Just stretch out the wings. Flap them a little bit. This makes sense.
Rosso does just that, and boy he has the longest wingspan in existence (it feels like), because when they're outside and he can fully extend these things? Yeah, they pretty much take up the entire radius of the clearing. The secondary wings are a bit smaller, but not by much. They're awkward half-feathered things, all four of them, scaly and feathery and definitely going to be a pain in the ass to care for.
They are also flapping and wiggling about. Rosso figures out pretty quickly it's easy to move them all at the same time, sort of like moving both arms and legs, but independently controlling them is a whole new nervous system battle he is not prepared for.]
Shit's weird. My brain feels like it's in overdrive trying to get these things to move.
[The good news is, having his brain focused on the Task of Making Wing Do The Thing means he can't accidentally set shit on fire? The brain is controlled. Focused.]

Like, Adrian's wings nearly doubled in wingspan after he became a Manticore, but Rosso's are on a different level entirely. But his current form is new and still a bit ungainly, and thus he ends up doing exactly that with a mini-explosion of feathers.
He ends up laying there on his back on the ground in a tangle of limbs with Rosso before pushing himself up on his elbow, grimacing.]
...yeah, 'bout what I expected. Gonna be doin' a lotta that.
[Comes his reply as he waits for Rosso to stand, getting up after him while pulling a bit of a feather from his own mouth. This is going to be a trend going forward, he'll discover.]
